Attendance at the annual conference is limited to members only.

This year's theme is "Transforming Government".  We will share more information as the agenda unfolds.  Mike Taylor our Vice President promises to deliver an agenda for an engaging conference.

Sponsorships
MIX allows a limited number of sponsors for each annual conference.  With the exception of the MIX business meeting and Thursday evening member dinner the sponsors are permitted to attend the entire conference and associated events.  Each sponsor is also allotted one hour to present to the conference attendees.  The presentation content must not be sales-related; rather, it is expected to be focused on technology trends and best practices.  Interested parties should contact the MIX President.

Indianapolis 2017
The 2017 MIX conference was held at the Embassy Suites in downtown Indianapolis, IN.  The theme was "Government as a Service"






Palm Desert 2016
The 2016 MIX conference was held at the historic La Quinta Resort & Club, a member of Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts.  The theme was "The ReEvolution of IT". 












Virginia Beach 2015
The 2015 MIX conference was held on the beautiful shores of Virginia Beach.  The theme was "The Marketing of IT: Product, Price, Promotion & Place".  












Boise 2014
The 2014 MIX conference was held in downtown Boise, ID which showcased all the amazing local beauty and amenities that the Boise area had to offer. The theme was "Fostering Innovation in Your Jurisdiction". 









Jacksonville 2013

 Vail 2012

Our 46th Annual Conference was held at the spectacular Lodge at Vail, a Rock Resort nestled at the base of Vail Mountain, in the heart of the renowned Vail Village. The 2012 Conference focused on  the "Consumerization of IT" and how it affects our communities and the future of our profession! 




 
 





  
San Luis Obispo 2011

The 2011 Conference was held September 18-22, 2011 in San Luis Obispo, California. MIX marked its 45th annual conference with the theme of "Opening Government", focusing sessions and discussions on how technology can further enable transparency and citizen engagement.

Fulton County (Atlanta) 2006
The 2006 MIX Conference was held October 22 - 26, 2006 in Fulton County (Atlanta) Georgia. Our host was Robert Taylor, Chief Information Officer of Fulton County. 

 
Clark County (Las Vegas) 2005
The 2005 MIX Conference was held September 25 - 30, 20005 in Clark County (Las Vegas) Nevada. Our hosts were Rod Massey and Joe Marcella.
 
San Diego 2004
The 2004 conference was held September 12-16, 2004  at the Horton Grand Hotel. It was co-hosted by Matt Carroll, CIO of Ventura County, California and Michael Moore, CIO of San Diego County, California. "Info Visions: Planning the Future of IT"
 
 Chicago 2003
The 2003 conference was held September 7- 11, 2003.

Williamsburg 2002

The 2002 conference was held October 20 – October 25, 2002.

"Managing for the Future - The Complexity Intensifies"

The conference was held at the Woodlands, a hotel owned and operated by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. It is located adjacent to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor's Center and the Williamsburg Cascades meeting facility where our conference sessions were held.
